Cruise Pricing, Cabins, and Shore Trips
Not familiar with cruising?
Of course, you will have a comfortable cabin and Fantasy offers nice private accommodations for each room. Most cabins on a cruise ship are well arranged and efficient. While not as large as a typical motel room would be, they are practical. Other than to sleep, shower, and change clothes, you likely find you will spend most of your time on deck or in the common spaces around the ship.
Typical Cabin Option
Includes stateroom categories 5A, 6A, 6B, 6C and 6D.
Category 5A features two portholes instead of a picture window.

Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films.

What to do on your day in a port
Getting there is half the fun
Our cruise is a day of sailing each way, so you have time to wind down a bit on the first day. Once we arrive in Costa Maya, we have an afternoon free to explore. The next day it's a full day in Cozumel. So how do you plan your shore day?
It's easy, you can wander if you like or arrange with the ship to have a shore excursion. There's something for any interest waiting for you, from diving on a reef to biking or a jeep ride to explore. You can check the Carnival website for some ideas, and just use your imagination with some of the collected from your options that are listed below!
Progreso
A seaside retreat located just 40 kilometers north of Merida along the Gulf Coast of Mexico, Progreso is quickly becoming an important gateway for cruise ship guests. Founded in 1872 by Juan Miguel Castro and heavily influenced by the Mayan culture, Progreso enjoys a very simple and relaxed lifestyle. Its white-sand beaches, emerald green waters and cooling gulf breezes are a natural draw for vacationers from all over the world.

Cozumel
Long before Cancun became a popular destination, Cozumel was well-known as a diving spot and home to the world famous Palancar Reef, which gives divers the opportunity to view thousands of brilliantly colored fish. Non-divers can kick back on a sun-drenched beach, or enjoy any number of seaside activities, such as shopping in colorful marketplaces or dining in an open-air café.
